The Beaten Path

A popular place for midnight walkers. The moon casts a dreamllike glow on some of the msot beautiful scenery you can imagine, there are all sorts of flowers and animals. Walking far enough leads to a clearing where it's rumored many have lost their innocence. There's also a small pond with almost crystal clear water.

Dimitri led Lex to the begining of the path and started down it in step with her. He glanced down at their hands. He wanted to take hers but he never wanted to push a girl into anything.

Lex smiled as they walked it was so beautiful. She brushed her hand against his hinting for him to hold her hand.

He took it softly. "It's amazing out here isn't?" He asked.

Lex smiled embracing the aroma."Indeed, like your eyes." She drew closer to him getting slightly cold.

He laughed. "You are the one who poses the amazing beauty" He paused for a moment and picked up a Gardenia (white pretty flower) He turnedso he was facing Lex. He put it in her hair perfectly and smiled kissing her forehead.

Lex smiled."Your such a gentleman." She kissed his hand lightly."Your the first man who hasnt treated me like crap."

"Why anyone would want to disrespect you is far from my knowledge of understanding." He paused and looked her over. "Are you cold?"

Lex smiled."Yes."

He took off his school robe. Gently he slipped it around her shoulders, "I'm sorry if you want to go back we can..."

Lex kissed his lips lightly."No stay."

Dimitri nodded they had reached the clearing. He kissed her again on the lips. His lips were soft and passionate.

Lex stepped away not too far just a couple inches "That was nice, but this will be better for you ." She kissed his neck slowly.


Suddenly Cassie Bell came upon them. Her eyes widened and her mouth opened slowly. Dimitri saw her and stepped back from Lex. "I-I'm sorry." Cassie said averting her eyes.

Lex averted her eyes to Cassie."No dont be sorry." She sighed.

SHe blushed. "I-I'll go." With that she turned and left.

"Well that was um interesting." Dimitri said grinning.

Lex waited til Cassie was out of sight then she averted her eyes to him. He was so handsome in the moonlight. The way his eyes sparkled and his profile was amazing."Quite might I say. So."

"It's getting late maybe I should return you to your room, wouldn't want people to wonder." He offered her his hand.

Lex took his hand."Maybe. But your probably right."

He led her up the path, through HOgwarts and just outside the comon room he turned her gently so she was facing him. "Thank you fo rcoming with me."

Lex smiled kissed his cheek and said."Thanks for asking."

"Your welcome." He opened the common room door. (reply common room)
